The Reno Shelf is built from small pieces of solid walnut that would otherwise have been discarded — painstakingly joined together to create a display unit with a graphic, Mondrian-like composition of asymmetric compartments. The result is both a functional shelf and a genuine conversation piece. Different-sized openings accommodate everything from tall books and sculptural objects to small ceramics and folded textiles. No two shelves are identical, and that's exactly the point.
